Colored satirical lithograph depicting a brawl between French and Prussian soldiers, set between two posts bearing the inscriptions “Army of the Loire” and “Army of the North.” Caption: “Ah! You bunch of good-for-nothings, you thought we were frozen. Yes indeed, yes indeed, my little dark-skinned friend, let’s beat them up.” Signed P. Klenck. A few foxing spots and slight creases.
