Designed with a pair of sliding panels, pair of textured-glass panels opening to a staggered shelf, ending with two adjescent drawers with kushi-shaped bail handles. Period: Japan - Taishô period (1912-1926). Dimensions: Height 85 cm, Width 64 cm, Depth 26 cm. In very good restored condition, with minor traces of wear consistent with age and use. There are some minimal blemishes on the top shelf. Please refer to the photographs for a clear condition reference. Cha’dansu 茶箪笥 were traditionally used for storing tea utensils, ceramics, and household items, while the open shelving provided an elegant space for displaying prized objects.
