Table lamp - folding - Bronze - Modernist

Elegant modernist desk lamp from the first half of the twentieth century, conceived under the aesthetic principles of Art Nouveau, where inspiration from organic shapes and the fluidity of the lines is translated into a piece of great decorative delicacy. Its metal structure, finished in brass, rises from a stepped circular base through a slender vertical shaft topped by a curved arm in an elegant volute shape, a formal solution characteristic of the modernist repertoire. The main attraction of the piece lies in its magnificent blown glass shade, made in satin white glass that gradually blends into soft pink tones at the edge. Its undulating, asymmetrical profile recalls the natural opening of a flower, one of the favorite motifs of the modernist movement, while the decorative reliefs on the glass enrich the lighting effect and add visual depth to the composition. The lamp incorporates a practical tilting system in the lamp holder, allowing the shade to be oriented and the lighting directed according to the user’s needs. This functional feature, discreetly integrated into the design, combines utility and elegance without altering the harmony of the lines. For its balanced proportions, the quality of the glasswork, and the delicacy of its vegetal forms, this lamp constitutes an attractive example of decorative lighting inspired by modernism, ideal for imparting historical character and refinement to desks, nightstands, libraries or eclectic interiors where the aesthetics of the decorative arts of the early 20th century are valued. Its combination of golden metal and polychromed blown glass creates a warm and sophisticated presence, capable of standing out both as a functional piece and as a collectible object. Certified shipping and good packaging.
