Table/desk clock - Horloge de table surréaliste « Old...

Surrealist table clock "Old Timer" - Time Warp Collection (Enesco, 2009) - Salvador Dalí inspiration Stunning surrealist table clock model “Old Timer” (Reference A20814) from the famous Time Warp collection, produced in 2009 under official license by Enesco. This collectible piece immediately captures the eye with its fluid, asymmetrical shapes, paying a bold and striking homage to Salvador Dalí’s famous “soft watches” from the masterpiece The Persistence of Memory. Features & Design: • Aesthetic: An electric blue dial that vibrantly contrasts with a robust case finished in antiqued gold/bronze with warm reflections. • Dial details: Elegantly stretched and distorted Roman numerals to emphasize the time-distortion effect characteristic of the surrealist movement. The thin hands complete the ensemble harmoniously. • Mechanism: Equipped with its original quartz movement (located at the back), powered by a single AA 1.5V battery. Condition of the item: • Overall aesthetic condition: Very good overall. The gilded patina retains all its original brilliance, with very light micro-scratches on the back, normal for its age and in no way detracting from the display piece’s beauty. The blue dial and the front glass are clean and clear. • Functionality: The mechanism works perfectly and keeps accurate time • Markings: Original authenticity label intact on the back: “Time Warp - A20814 - Old Timer - 2009 ENESCO LTD.” This unique clock is ideal for art collectors, fans of unusual design, or to add a chic and artistic cabinet-of-curiosities touch to your home. A superb conversation piece that is sure to draw attention. Careful packaging, ultra-protected and trackable shipment worldwide."
