SWITZERLAND — BLACK FOREST — Fireplace set comprising a clock and a pair of carved wooden candlesticks, richly decorated with naturalistic motifs of birds, foliage, flowers, and branches. The clock is crowned with a bird of prey with outstretched wings and adorned with several birds in relief; the dial features enameled Roman numerals. Swiss Black Forest craftsmanship, circa 1900.
