Suriname 1931/1931 - Suriname Dornier X series with flight cachet - NVPH 2026

Beautiful series, Airmail Suriname 1931 from the Dornier X flight in 1931. The stamps are canceled with the special flight postmark that was made for this flight. On the back of 3 stamps there is a faint cancellation mark Elloitt N.Y. The 10 cent value misses the dot after Do. Catalog number LP 8f, value 120 euros. Only 84 examples are known. Catalogue value for the complete series 350 euros (plus 100 for the printing deviation). See photos for a good personal impression.
