sunde - Sculpture

For sale is a charming, rare, and fully preserved five-piece musician ensemble (orchestra) made of genuine dark patinated bronze. The sculptures impress with their expressive style of post-war modernism (Post-War Expressionism / Mid-Century Modern). The figures are artfully stylized and reduced to the essentials, so that the dynamic poses and the interplay with the respective instrument (including a cellist) are brought to perfection. The rugged, vibrant surface texture reveals the original model-ing traces of the design and gives the figures a unique, handcrafted character.
