Style of Yves Tanguy: Surreal Landscape

Yves Tanguy (French/ American, 1900 - 1955) Style of: Surreal Landscape. Oil on linen, framed, doodle verso. Tanguy's most characteristic works are painted in a style reminiscent of Salvadori Dalí, but his imagery is highly distinctive, featuring strange landscapes in which amorphous objects proliferate in a haunted dream world.
