Studio Delu. (1976) - Garfield – Fêtard

Studio Delu. (1976) – Collection: The Timeless - Garfield – Partygoer Shadow Frame 27 × 27 cm – Mixed media – Work signed With its collection The Timeless, Studio Delu celebrates iconic characters from comics and popular culture. This creation highlights Garfield in a musical universe where vinyl records, headphones, sheet music, and a jukebox set the scene. In the center, the famous orange cat takes the microphone and becomes a singer, with all the nonchalance that makes him charming. The elements are assembled by hand in a black Shadow Frame. The light mat highlights the orangey tones and sepia nuances of the image, while the three-dimensional figurine extends the scene in the foreground. A dialogue is born between the printed universe and the three-dimensional character. Each Studio Delu creation is made individually. The choice of elements and their staging give each work its own character. At the boundary between illustration, sculpture and contemporary art, this composition will appeal to Garfield fans, music lovers, and collectors of Comic Art and pop culture.
