Splendid Lot of 5 Small Antique Collection Animals by Steiff – Penguin, Hedgehog, Easter Bunny, Gray Bunny, and Fish – Mid-20th Century – Heights from 6.5 cm to 16.5 cm Remarkable and charming set of five little antique naturalist animals and subjects from the prestigious German house Steiff, ideal for collectors of the brand's miniatures. Several pieces retain their original buttons and labels. This diverse set includes: A Penguin (about 16.5 cm): Superb specimen with its black and white mohair body, its characteristic wings and legs, equipped with the original Steiff button on the wing. A Hedgehog: With its prickly textured mohair coat and original Steiff button in the ear. A Beige Bunny with Christmas Ribbon: Adorned with a red “Merry Xmas” ribbon and a small bell, with its Steiff button fixed in the ear. A Gray Bunny: Soft plush with large expressive eyes and whiskers in fibers. A Small Colorful Fish (about 6.5 cm): Made of velour and felt in graduated tones (yellow, orange and red). A collection of great finesse and timeless charm.
