Charming Lot of 5 Old Collectible Small Animals / Birds (Steiff or similar) – Rooster, Swan/Goose, Stork, Owl and Little Bird – Mid 20th Century – Heights from 6.5 cm to 13 cm a charming and very decorative set of five small vintage animal and bird subjects, designed in the typical style of German toy and collectible plush makers of the mid-20th century (in the Steiff tradition or similar manufacturers). This diverse set includes: A Rooster: Large piece at 13 cm with colorful plumage, red felt crest and beard, green tail and felt feet. A Stork: Elegant figure on orange metal legs, white and black felt body with a long slender beak. A Duck / Goose: With a light plush body, wings spread, orange beak and broad felt paddings. An Owl: With large expressive eyes ringed and speckled plumage. A Small Black Bird: The smallest in the series (6.5 cm), in black mohair felt and plush on thin red metal wire legs. A charming collection, ideal for lovers of miniatures and retro antique toys.
