Statue, Bronzen Nepalese Amoghapasha Bodhisattva 44 cm - 43 cm - Bronze

Image, Bronze Nepalese Amoghapasha Bodhisattva 44 cm Amoghapasha, which means unerring lasso, refers to unfailing compassion as a lasso that pulls all sentient beings out of suffering and into a state of happiness that leads to enlightenment. Amoghapasha is a complex deity motif in the iconography of tantric Buddhism. Sometimes Amoghapasha is described as a form or emanation of Avalokiteshvara and at other times as a consequent figure when Avalokiteshvara is the central deity in the mandala. It is easiest to refer to the first as Amoghapasha Avalokiteshvara and the second as the Amoghapasha deity. The first, when he appears in a basic form and is central in a configuration with five deities, is identical to Khasarpana Avalokiteshvara. Marked on the underside Carefully packed and insured shipping.
