Squier Bullet Stratocaster by Fender, completely customized by a contemporary artist (bio attached), fully functional with new D'Addario Regular Light strings. The customization was done by adding mechanical motorcycle parts to the body (bearings and part of the clutch disc) and for the control knobs (Harley engine mechanisms). The faceplate itself was handmade, as was the painting. The back of the guitar has been partially inlaid by hand and an authentic brass cartridge case (empty) has been set in, caliber 300. On the neck a small fragment of original period sheet music was applied. It will also come with black plastic volume controls and with a double faceplate, one in black plastic and the other handmade in metal worked with flame to achieve a post‑war look, both bearing the sticker “ride old bike.” It will be carefully packaged and shipped via courier. Biografia Andrea Oliva was born in Milan on 15/02/1973. He attended a classical high school, then followed his instincts, left the gymnasium and enrolled at the Caravaggio Art High School where he graduated in 1992, and later at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He plays in several musical groups, drums and guitar, while also attending the studios of already established artists and beginning a long period of collaboration with some of them, from which he learned the specific techniques of sculpture. He also worked for a period at the historic plaster model studio “Fumagalli e Dossi.” He began a consistent series of solo and group exhibitions; the first was in 1994, and he participated in sculpture symposia and competitions, becoming a member of the Museo della Permanente in Milan. He also dedicates himself to painting and to writing poetry, some of which has been published in specialized journals. He realizes on commission the plaques of the “doctorate in chemical sciences and in industrial chemistry” for the University of Milan (2004) and for the University of Insubria (Varese-Como) (2005). He has created several public monuments; one of the most important is a sepulchral monument located in the Milanese main cemetery.
