Elegant Service of 12 Coffee/Dessert Teaspoons in 800 Silver Precious and elegant complete set of 12 coffee or dessert spoons in 800 Title Silver (Titolo 800) of Italian manufacture, beautifully preserved inside its original antique case. The set features a classic and refined design with a sober grooved pattern on the handles, perfect to enrich a formal table or as a valuable collectible piece. Technical Features and Details • Material: Solid Silver Titolo 800/1000 (Continental Silver). • Composition: The set includes 12 pieces (coordinated teaspoons). • Total net weight (silverware): 108 grams (measured on a precision balance, as shown in the attached image). • Hallmarks / Marks: • Hallmark 800 enclosed in an oval cartouche certifying the authenticity and purity of the alloy (80% pure silver). • Next to it is the identifying hallmark of the Italian silversmith within the classic hexagonal lozenge with truncated sides. • Era / Dating: 20th century (approx. 1944–1968, given the hallmark type without the fasces and prior to the introduction of the Republic star). • Case: Original vintage rigid case with dark blue outer lining and interiors in elegant white/ivory satin fabric tailored to hold each piece individually. At the inner bottom there is the dealer’s original gold label. Condition The service is presented in excellent vintage condition. The silver shows a light natural patina of time (surface oxidation, especially on the back of the handle as visible in the photo), an indicator of authenticity, easily polished with specific products if you wish to restore the maximum original shine. No structural deformations or significant defects are evident. The outer case is intact and fully functional.
