SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 113 - Lot 270

SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 113 Dupuis, 1967. Large quarto hardcover, red cloth spine, front cover illustrated in color. A very charming collection from the Journal Spirou, corresponding to the 113th Journal Album, particularly sought after for its cover featuring Bill, the famous cocker spaniel from the Boule et Bill series. The front cover, rendered in a highly legible graphic style, humorously contrasts Bill with a crow perched on a branch, in a scene instantly recognizable as the work of Roba. The cover, which is highly decorative and particularly appealing, stands out as one of the most memorable visuals of this period. This volume is a wonderful addition to your collection, bringing a fresh, strong presence from the Boule and Bill universe, which remains highly popular with readers.
