Beyond reverie lie the facts. This ring holds an impressive 4.87 carat brilliant-cut diamond in its center. Its color has a very light yellow tint and is pleasantly warm. Its purity is first-class: The diamond has been classified by two independent institutes with the clarity grade "vvsi", meaning it has no inclusions that are visible to the eye and only very difficult to see with a magnifying glass. The very good cut and polish ensure that the stone is extremely brilliant. The large solitaire is set in high-carat platinum, allowing plenty of light to reach the sparkling diamond. The setting with its airy structure has been crafted by hand. Due to its elegant, architectural shapes, we date the ring to around 1960.
