Sony - TA-2650 (amplifier) / ST-2950F (tuner) Stereo set - Multiple models

The Sony TA-2650 integrated stereo amplifier and the matching Sony ST-2950F AM/FM stereo tuner form a classic vintage hi-fi set, produced in Japan by Sony (circa 1976–1978). The set hails from the golden era of Japanese audio and is characterized by its solid brushed aluminum front panels, heavy aluminum knobs, and the atmospherically lit tuning scale with analog VU/signal meters. The TA-2650 amplifier delivers a stable continuous power of approximately 2 x 45 Watts at 8 Ohms and is known for its warm, musical, and dynamic sound character. The unit features an excellent phono preamp for turntables, a tone control with a loudness switch, and connections for two pairs of speakers. The ST-2950F tuner offers highly sensitive and interference-free stereo FM/AM reception, supported by an accurate tuning and signal-strength meter for optimal channel alignment. The units are supplied as a complete, matched stereoset. Condition: Nice vintage condition with normal signs of use consistent with age on the housing and front panels. Both the amplifier and the tuner have been technically tested and are functioning; illumination, meters, potentiometers, switches, and reception operate properly.
