Sony - SS-A4 / 2-Way Stereo Speaker set - Multiple models

The Sony SS-A4 is a vintage two-way bass-reflex monitor speaker, produced in Japan by Sony (circa late 1980s / early 1990s). The model comes from a period when Sony designed compact speakers with a notably mature and balanced sound character. The enclosure features a bass-reflex port that delivers surprisingly deep and tight bass for its size, combined with a clear and open treble. The driver arrangement consists of a high-quality woofer with a smooth surround for the bass and midrange, complemented by a dome tweeter for fine detailing without harshness. Thanks to its compact dimensions and efficient drive, the SS-A4 is excellent for placement on a bookshelf or stands, and performs effortlessly in combination with both classic vintage amplifiers and modern stereo sets. Condition: Nice vintage condition with normal, light signs of use consistent with the age on the cabinet and front panels. Both speakers have been technically and acoustically tested and are functioning; the cones and surrounds are in good condition.
