Slicer - by hand - Cast iron, Hardwood - Manual slicer

Splendid and authentic vintage manual slicer (bread cutter/ham slicer) dating from the first half of the 20th century (circa 1930s/1940s). A true piece of industrial design history, perfect both as a rare collectible object and as a unique decorative element for modern kitchens, dens, or spaces in industrial, rustic, or shabby chic style. Features and details: • Origin: Made in Germany, in the historic manufacturing area of Nuremberg (bearing the original raised mark "GERMANY N" on the metal casting). • Materials: Solid base and the hand crank handle in original solid wood; supporting frame and vise in heavy cream-painted cast iron; large circular steel blade. • Components: Complete with the original screw clamp (fully functional) to secure it firmly to tables or worktops, and the metal regulator to set the slice thickness. • Condition: The item presents itself in splendid time-capsule aesthetic condition, with a beautiful original patina of time that certifies its authenticity. The hand-crank mechanical system operates smoothly. It has not been restored or repainted in order to preserve its vintage charm and collectible value. Excellent gift idea for antique and retro enthusiasts or for those who love artisanal bread baking with sourdough and are looking for a traditional slice.
