Skedro (1991) - L'intellettuale

Oil painting on canvas from a collection. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Skedro and bearing the gallery’s double stamp. Title: The Intellectual Dimensions: 70 x 50 cm Year: 2023 Skedro is a contemporary artist whose work focuses on representing identity as an ever-changing process. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural, tactile painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where mark, color, and matter intertwine to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects on the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never final but always in flux. www.skedroartist.com NB: The work will be shipped in a sturdy, shipment-ready tube. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
