Tutte le aste / Veicoli / SKE - The carrera Legacy
SKE - The Carrera Legacy The Carrera Legacy celebrates the meeting of two universes that for decades have shared the same fascination with speed, precision, and competition: Porsche and TAG Heuer. The bond between the two brands goes far beyond a commercial collaboration. Their history crosses paths under the same name: Carrera. Porsche adopts this designation after its performances at the mythical Carrera Panamericana, while Jack Heuer named in 1963 his new chronograph “Carrera,” directly inspired by this Mexican car race. Decades later, this shared story continued with the official strategic partnership between Porsche and TAG Heuer, launched in 2021. The two houses have since developed several creations and collaborations around their shared heritage in motorsport. In The Carrera Legacy, SKE brings these two icons together in a graphic composition inspired by the world of vintage racing. The monumental dial of the chronograph dialogues with the timeless silhouette of the Porsche 911, while black, white and touches of red recall both timing instruments and the visual codes of motor racing. The large 1963 inscribed in the composition anchors the work: the birth year of the Heuer Carrera chronograph. A creation designed for Porsche collectors, watch enthusiasts, and all those who see in Carrera much more than a name: a true legacy tied to racing. Artwork features Artist: SKE Title: The Carrera Legacy Signed, numbered and with certificate of authenticity present Edition: 10 pieces only Format: A2 portrait - 42 × 59.4 cm Printed on premium museum-quality art paper Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt Work sold unframed Protected shipping suitable for Fine Art works. - FRAMING TIPS Your work is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, gently remove it then lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available at home improvement or decoration stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and economical; they perfectly showcase the works. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught French artist and all‑rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double readings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the strong visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend of recent years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of pop culture, bold graphics and textures characterize a style now essential. SKE is undoubtedly an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value. Artist rated & awarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret the Mona Lisa by Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to juxtapose them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), including Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes evoking the glossy shine of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior. - Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart
