SKE - Monogram in Time

- Work "Monogram in Time" - Number 02/30 - Work signed/numbered by the artist SKE delivered with certificate of authenticity. - HAND-FINISHED « Sculpture made for commercial purposes, manually touched up by the artist SKE » - Description: Metal and glass clock, perfectly functional, ultra-silent mechanism. Wall mounting. And if luxury decided to add some color... and play with time? With Monogram in Time, SKE takes hold of two instantly recognizable icons: the world of high-end sports chronographs, inspired by Rolex Daytona, and the famous Louis Vuitton monogram. Two symbols of luxury meeting in a resolutely pop art interpretation, where traditional codes are shaken by an explosion of color. From flaming red to deep blue, via solar yellow and bright green, the dial becomes a true graphic composition. The monograms repeat, the counters structure the space, and the golden finishes give the whole a visually assertive presence. But behind this deliberately provocative aesthetic lies also a functional object: a true sculptural clock, designed to bring art into everyday life. Made in aluminum and glass, this 34 cm diameter and 6 cm thick creation asserts its presence in both contemporary interiors and a collection devoted to pop art, design, or the luxury world. Limited to only 30 copies, Monogram in Time fits into SKE's artistic approach: subverting the symbols of our era to offer them a new reading, between fascination, humor, and popular culture. Because after all, time passes. Style, for its part, leaves an imprint. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a French self-taught, versatile artist who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then voted Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October; he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE is also making his mark in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture work characterize a style now essential. SKE is without a doubt an artist to follow, to initiate or enrich a collection with rising value. Renowned & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE's work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line conveys the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to détourne Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s world with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and superheroes is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s universe and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel's Super Heroes. SKE crystallizes these memories like Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The Dollar sign sits beside the logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter the sneaker universe (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also includes automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to forget mass consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This work is ideal to enrich a collection or bring a dynamic touch to your interior.
