Carrera is one of them. On October 5, 1972, Porsche unveiled the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, designed for racing and rallying. It became the first 911 to officially bear the Carrera name, with a silhouette that became legendary, notably thanks to its famous rear wing “ducktail.” In its era, it was also the fastest road-going Porsche 911 in the lineup. But Carrera also belongs to the history of watchmaking. The TAG Heuer Carrera, originally conceived by Jack Heuer to offer excellent legibility in the world of motorsports, shares with Porsche much more than a name: a shared culture of speed, precision and functional design. In 2022, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, TAG Heuer and Porsche bring these two stories together around two official TAG Heuer Carrera × Porsche RS 2.7 chronographs. The colors are intentional: they echo Glacier Blue and Guards Red, two shades associated with the original RS 2.7. The blue version, produced in 500 copies, features a steel case and many blue details inspired by Porsche. The red version, even more exclusive with 250 copies, features a 18k rose gold case and the Guards Red accents characteristic of the car. Both rest on the Carrera 42 mm chronograph powered by the Heuer 02 movement. CARRERA 50 - ANNIVERSARY EDITION continues this encounter by offering an artistic interpretation in the form of a diptych. Two posters. Two colors. Two chronographs. One same Porsche. One same name: Carrera. The red and blue compositions were deliberately designed as two distinct yet complementary works. They combine the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, the graphical codes of its historic decorations, and the two anniversary watches, in a visual language inspired by automotive and watch posters of the 1970s. The set is intended to be displayed side by side: the red and blue respond to each other without forming two simple variants of the same image. The diptych thus becomes a homage to the meeting of automotive, competition and haute horlogerie, aimed above all at collectors and enthusiasts of the Porsche and Carrera universe. A deliberately very limited edition, conceived as a collectible piece around the 50th anniversary of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and the Porsche × TAG Heuer collaboration. Independent artwork paying homage to this universe; it is not an official Porsche or TAG Heuer product. - ADVICE FOR FRAMING Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, remove it carefully and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally returns to its shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in hardware or décor stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and affordable, they perfectly enhance the works. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught French artist with a wide range of interests who grew up immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artworks. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After a standout 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the Urban Master award (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, strengthening his place in the contemporary art scene.
