simone ibba - Pensiero libero

Technique: Mixed media on stretched canvas board In this work, I created a visual dialogue between urban energy and introspective quiet. Executed on a stretched canvas board, the figure represents the freedom of thought, almost ethereal, in the face of the vibrant chaos of metropolitan towers, reflecting the contrast between inner isolation and the city’s constant movement. This piece invites reflection on one’s own place in the turmoil of the modern world, bringing a stimulating and deep presence to your interior. “Certificate of authenticity signed by the artist included.” “The situational visuals are AI visualizations based on photographs of the real object. The photographs of the real object are authoritative.” The artist: Born in Genoa in 1974, Simone Ibba settled in Belgium in 2007. After a hiatus in his artistic activity between 2004 and 2021, he resumed painting in 2023 with the series “Urban,” reintroducing figuration into his work while pursuing an abstract exploration through the digital medium.
