Simon Fisher Signed Limited Edition Print on Paper w/ COA & autographed Book

Simon Fisher (British, b. 1944) limited edition color print titled The United States departing New York, depicting the S.S. United States ocean liner in New York Harbor. The work is signed in pencil in the lower right margin S.W. Fisher and signed in pencil in the lower left margin L. J. Alexanderson. A Certificate of Authenticity identifies the print as 51/850. The print is housed in a wide burl-wood style frame. Accompanying the artwork is a first American edition copy of the book "S.S. United States" by William H. Miller, published in 1991 by W. W. Norton & Company. The title page features a handwritten inscription in black ink: "To Peter Mercurio with Best Wishes! Sincerely, L. J. Alexanderson Retired Master United States Commodore United States Lines Rear Admiral U.S. Naval Reserve (Ret.) October 28, 1995."
