Metaphysical and esoteric traditions (Cultural and symbolic) • Protection and energetic shield: It is attributed with the ability to act as a filter that absorbs dense energies, envy, and fatigue from the surroundings. • The evil eye and the "higa": Traditionally used as a protective talisman or amulet — often carved in the shape of a closed fist or hand (higa) — especially in the Mediterranean tradition and as protection for babies. • Rooting (Root Chakra): In alternative therapies and crystal healing, it is linked to the first chakra to provide stability, mental calm, inner strength, and help in coping with grief or stress. • Historical connection: Its mystical use is documented since ancient times (Romans, Vikings) and is closely linked to the Way of St. James through the Guild of Jetworkers of Santiago de Compostela. It is shipped packaged through a meticulous process to ensure the piece arrives in pristine condition.
