This collection features verse that celebrates the lives of Essex rural folk, as well as the local countryside, which the author knew very well.Pencil inscription of H. A. Mason, possibly that of the lecturer and literary critic, Harold A. Mason. Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very good, with a little discolouration to cloth. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Dust wrapper is very smart, with light edge wear and a little loss to the spine head. Sunning to the spine and the odd mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good
