Brutalist sideboard with a geometric relief front, Belgium, 1970s Impressive vintage brutalist sideboard from Belgium dating from around the 1970s. The piece is characterized by a particularly sculptural front with a repeating geometric relief. The different panels are rendered in three dimensions, creating a strong play of light and shadow. The long, low and sturdy form is characteristic of Belgian brutalist furniture design from the 70s. The warm dark brown wood finish emphasizes the graphic pattern and gives the piece a monumental look. The sideboard offers ample storage space and is both functional and decorative. The pronounced relief front makes the piece a real eye-catcher and an interesting item for lovers of vintage, brutalist, and Belgian design.
