Sibast Mobler - Armchair (2) - Leather, Teak - Danish Scandinavian

This elegant pair of armchairs was manufactured in the 1960s by Sibast Furniture, Denmark, embodying the timeless aesthetics of Scandinavian modernism. The chairs are built around a high-quality solid wood frame, presumably teak, whose warm tone provides an appealing contrast to the black leather upholstery. Characteristic are the clean lines, the finely proportioned armrests, and the distinctive button tufting on the backrest and seat, giving the chairs their unmistakable mid-century character. The design recalls pieces by Arne Vodder and exemplifies the high quality of Danish furniture production in the 1960s. The fully upholstered backs also allow for free placement in the room. The chairs are in well-maintained vintage condition with signs of age-related wear. The leather shows an attractive patina, while the wooden frame has retained its authentic character. The original manufacturer labels from Sibast Furniture are present and confirm the Danish origin. A high-quality, collectible pair for enthusiasts of Scandinavian design classics, which harmoniously fits into both mid-century and modern interiors.
