Shrimp - Fossil plate matrix - Carpopenaeus Callirostris...

This beautiful shrimp of Carpopenaeus Callirostris is of excellent quality, originating from the famous Cenomanian deposits of HJOULA_LIBANO, one of the world's most important fossiliferous sites, dating from the Late Cretaceous about 96 million years ago. This specimen is excellent for display, and its matrix is intact. The fossil shrimp have a light pearl-gray color when uncovered. In this case we left part of the shrimp in its natural state and highlighted its antennae for display purposes. It has undergone a conservation treatment with Paraloid B72 to protect against pollution as used by museums, ideal for collectors or educational purposes.
