Ship's compass - Brass - Binnacle with a ship's compass

A fully complete, working liquid-filled compass from the well-known English brand Sestrel, dating from 1940. At the time it was sold, or that firm acted as an intermediary; the company name appears on the compass rose as: Coubro & Serutton Ltd., London. I have removed the liquid from the compass to protect the compass rose. It can be refilled this way. See the photos for further details.
