A0000006321 Article: SHEAFFER STYLOGRAPH/PENCIL SET, black body with cap gold-plated in fine ray, clip with white dot Length: 13.2 cm Diameter: 1.1 cm Nib: EF (extrafine), 14K gold nib marked "SHEAFFER'S - MADE IN U.S.A. - 14K" Pen: 12.7 x 0.9 cm Pieces: 2 Period: 1950s Materials: Polished black resin on body and section, caps and rings gold-plated with fine longitudinal ribbing, gold clip with the distinctive Sheaffer white dot, 14-karat gold nib and gold conical tip on the pencil grip. The pen retains the rear knurled knob of the Sheaffer pneumatic filling system (Touchdown/ Snorkel type) and the body is engraved with "W. A. SHEAFFER PEN CO."; the pencil operates by twist mechanism and holds the lead. Condition: Very good overall condition in both pieces. The gold caps appear bright and show no noticeable plating wear, only micro-scratches from age; the black body retains good shine, with light signs of use and the barrel engraving somewhat worn from rubbing. The nib appears aligned and straight, with the pen section slightly discolored to brownish tone over time. The pencil functions and has the lead in place. Vintage parts not workshop-checked: it is recommended to service the filling system before regular use. Extras: Supplied with its original rigid Sheaffer case, lined with light satin and the logo "SHEAFFER'S" printed on the inside of the lid (the satin shows stains and yellowing due to age). No papers, certificate, or warranty card are visible in the photos, so this is not a full set: a two-piece set with the original box only."
