A0000005279 We put up for auction one of the great jeweled-artworks of mid-century American executive-pen writing: the premium Sheaffer Imperial Triumph fountain pen (Model 797), manufactured in the United States throughout the 1970s. This coveted piece stands out in the firm’s historical catalog for featuring an entirely metal construction (body and cap) finished with a sumptuous and thick Gold Electroplated coating, decorated with the famous majestic longitudinal striped pattern of faceted lines known as the "Fluted" pattern. A superb piece of great presence and distinction that embodies the golden era of the White Dot company. The design of this fountain pen is a display of high-fidelity aesthetics, aerodynamics, and classic ergonomics: closed, it measures a perfect 13.2 cm in length with a regal thickness of 1.2 cm, offering extraordinary balance and hand-settling for long writing sessions.
