Tutte le aste / Arte Contemporanea / Serena Grassetti - Pigments of Nature #5
Pigment of Nature arises from the meeting of the earth’s pure pigments and techniques that allow color to delicately fuse with the surface. The nuances develop fluidly and harmoniously, creating soft and deep transitions that recall the natural rhythms of matter. The color does not appear as a stain, but as a breath that expands slowly, guided by the emotional intention of the artist. Each variation of tone is unreproducible and guards the essence of the natural pigments from which it comes to life. An essential and sensitive work, where earth, color, and feeling meet to shape an intimate and authentic balance. Shipping and presentation: The work will be shipped MOUNTED, carefully packaged to ensure maximum safety * Original piece signed by the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This work is made on canvas without a frame and is shipped rolled to ensure maximum safety during transport. ATTENTION: *The canvas is not treated with plaster or primer, so it is a rough and natural material. *It must not be stretched excessively during framing to avoid alterations of the texture and the rendering of natural pigments. *Do not use the canvas stretcher, as it could compromise the stability of the work. *It is advisable to entrust an expert framer for optimal mounting. The artist develops a visual research that investigates the threshold between the real and the inner, between the figure and its dissolution. Through instinctive yet controlled painting, her works tell of the human being at the moment of losing oneself, fragmenting, and transforming. The painting matter, unfinished signs, and drips become emotional language: they do not represent, but evoke. Each face, each trace, is a fragment of presence that resists oblivion. Her style, recognizable for the tension between figuration and abstraction, sits in the panorama of the new Italian contemporary painting, in dialogue with themes of identity, silence, and metamorphosis. Her works convey an intimate and universal strength, capable of speaking directly to the viewer. Serena Grassetti is a contemporary Italian artist. She lives and works in central Italy. Her work stands out for a deep and personal research that unites natural materials, pure colors, and instinctive gestures. Serena is described as sensitive, innovative, and emotionally powerful. Through the use of natural pigments, earths, charcoal, and rough textiles, she creates abstract and tactile works that speak of wounds, memory, and inner transformation. Her style oscillates between painting and visual poetry, with recurring elements such as white drips, incomplete faces, and layered textures, which make each work unique and recognizable. She exhibits in solo and group shows, in Italy and abroad. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and is born as part of a path of intimate and sincere research. The work, made with mixed techniques and natural pigments, contains the chromatic power of one who has learned to transform the painterly gesture into pure emotion, in a search that traverses time and the market of contemporary art. Among the depths of color, one senses the same tension that made Bacon’s brushstrokes iconic, the gesturality of Jackson Pollock, and the introspection of Lucian Freud. A piece that fits into the modern art scene for collection, perfect for those seeking a work with strong emotional impact, capable of dialoguing with the visual energy of galleries in New York, London, Paris, and Hong Kong, where names like Basquiat, Rothko, and Gerhard Richter have left their mark. A piece destined for those who understand the value of art that goes beyond form, penetrating the heart of human expression, as Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, and Egon Schiele did over time. The dynamism of the brushstrokes and the depth of the mark make this canvas a perfect investment for collectors and lovers of fine art, always seeking unique pieces able to fit among the greats of Pop Art and conceptual art. A unique piece for art collectors, perfect for galleries and investors seeking luxury art and works destined to increase in value over time. In a world dominated by pop artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Banksy, and Kaws, this work stands out for its use of completely natural coloration, making every piece unique and unreproducible. An exclusive alternative for those seeking contemporary art with a distinctive and authentic signature. The works have been presented in local, national, and international exhibition contexts, contributing to the definition of a coherent and distinctive visual language. The works form part of private collections and international art galleries, with sales in cities such as Dubai, New York, Berlin, London, and Paris, capitals of the art market and art investment.
