This is a vintage Seiko 5 automatic watch, specifically the model with the dial reference 7009-469L R (often identified also as part of the 7009-3040 series or 7009-469R depending on the case). The watch stands out for the following features: • Movement: Caliber automatic Seiko 7009, a robust and widely used mechanical self-winding movement from the 1980s and 1990s, equipped with 17 jewels. • Dial: In a distinctive ice blue / sky blue color (often commercially referred to as Ice Blue or Tiffany Blue) with a sunburst finish that creates metallic reflections in the light. It features the classic day-date complication at 3 o'clock. • Bracelet: Stainless steel model with a Jubilee-style link. • Note: aftermarket blue dial • Case diameter: 37.0 mm (measured left to right, excluding the crown) • Lug-to-Lug (overall height): 42.0 mm (the vertical distance between the tips of the upper and lower lugs) • Case thickness: about 11.0 mm (including the domed mineral glass) • Lug width (strap width): 19.0 mm (the inner space between the two lugs where the bracelet or a leather strap attaches)
