Sega Bell "Cowboy" Slot Machine (late 1950s)

Sega Bell "Cowboy" Slot Machine (late 1950s). The item is a vintage slot machine housed within a full-size, painted cowboy figure made of a composite material, likely fiberglass, standing on a round golden base. The slot machine, integrated into the cowboy's torso, is predominantly black with chrome-plated and silver-tone metal accents, including the "SEGA BELL" brand name and a display window showcasing three colorful reels depicting classic slot symbols such as fruits, bells, and bars. A "JACK POT Mystery Payouts?" panel detailing various awards is present below the reels. The coin entry slot shows multiple inserted coins, and the coin return tray contains two coins, indicating it was configured for 6 pence operation ("6D" marking visible). The chrome and silver components exhibit minor surface wear, scuffs, and areas of dulling consistent with age and use. The black painted surfaces of both the slot machine and the cowboy figure show some light scratches, minor scuffs, and dust build-up. The straw hat shows signs of wear. The internal mechanism shows signs of age with some oxidation and dust but appears largely intact. A serial number label "724624" is visible internally. The wooden elements housing the mechanism exhibit natural grain and minor wear. The overall visual condition suggests an item with historical character and signs of use. The slot machine is in good working condition. No keys, open back panel. Dimensions (H x W x D): 180 x 65 x 60 cm. Location: Dutch Auction Company, Tilburg, The Netherlands.
