Beautifully unique, heavy antique statue of Napoleon on horseback. It stands an impressive 66 cm tall and weighs an estimated 30 kg. The white marble base measures 56 x 23 x 3 cm thick. It is fully cast iron, but finished with特别 detailed work that makes the statue so unique; you see no difference with a bronze statue. Lovely for a Napoleon collector. It is an imposing bronze rider statue of Napoleon Bonaparte, seated on a stately horse in a calm, dignified pose. Napoleon wears his characteristic bicorne, a long military cloak, a richly detailed uniform with double rows of buttons and high riding boots. His face radiates determination and authority, while he holds the reins loosely in his left hand. The horse is realistically modeled, with a muscular build, meticulously worked mane and tail, and an elegant bridle. The animal's stance is calm yet powerful, which enhances the dignity of the piece. The sculpture is finished in dark patinated bronze-look cast iron with subtle shine on the raised parts, allowing the fine details of clothing, saddle and anatomy to stand out beautifully. The statue rests on a simple oval bronze base which again rests on a classical white marble pedestal. The whole is a decorative art object in a historical style, inspired by the iconic depictions of Napoleon from the 19th century. Thanks to the refined finish and timeless look, it forms an impressive showpiece for a classic interior, library, office or collection of historical bronzes, certainly Napoleon’s. Can optionally be shipped in a large box by arrangement with the customer, with costs depending on the destination country. Tip: you can also pick it up on a Sunday morning, as there is the weekly large Antique Market in Tongeren 8 km from home on Sundays (people from all over the world come to this market).
