Expressive handmade sculpture in cast iron, composed of four abstractly shaped figures that hold hands and appear to leap in a dynamic, almost weightless motion. The open posture of the figures and their interconnection give the artwork a strong symbolic presence. The sculpture can be interpreted as a depiction of connectedness, family, friendship, freedom, and shared happiness. The elongated forms and deliberate simplification of the human figures give the sculpture a contemporary and artistic character. The dark finish emphasizes the iron cast’s texture and provides a pleasing contrast with a modern, classical, or minimalist interior. Because the object is handmade, small irregularities in shape, surface, and finish may occur. These are part of the artisanal character and give each piece its own appearance. A decorative statement piece for, for example, a living room, office, foyer, library, or gallery interior. Because of the symbolism, also particularly suitable as a gift for a wedding, anniversary, family moment, or other special occasion.
