Large bronze sculpture of the Petite Danseuse after E. Degas. "Degas danseres" refers to the numerous paintings and sculptures of ballet dancers created by the French artist Edgar Degas. The most famous sculpture is probably the "Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans" (Fourteen-year-old little dancer), a wax model of the Belgian Marie van Goethem from 1880, known for its realism. The statue stands on a marble base and bears the signature "Degas" and the bronze foundry mark. Fine detailing, a beautiful face, and a lovely brown color (patina). This is a reproduction. Height 38 cm. Base 15 cm x 13 cm. Weight 5.4 kg. The statue is carefully packed and sent by registered mail and insured.
