Sculpture

The famous "Dea Bendata" (Allegory of Fortune), inspired by the renowned model of the Neapolitan sculptor Vincenzo Aurisicchio (1855-1926). Artistic fusion, 1950s. The sculpture captures an intense theatrical and enigmatic expression, with a blindfolded face, a pronounced smile, wind-blown hair, and an elegant bow detail at the rear. The bust is cast in bronze with a rich dark patina and is firmly mounted on a solid geometric base in fine green marble. Art-foundry production from the mid-20th century, after the historical model. Unmarked exemplar. Hollow sculpture inside Bronze and marble base Dimensions (approx.): 32 x 20 x 20 cm Weight: approximately 7 kg Conditions: Good overall vintage condition. It shows light surface scratches and normal signs of wear due to age and handling, which attest to its authenticity and enrich the original patina.
