Sculpture

Powerful and expressive bronze sculpture of a rearing horse, carried out with great attention to anatomy, movement and detail. The tensed posture, raised forelegs and beautifully modeled mane give the piece strong dynamism and presence. The horse is finished with a dark, warm patina in which the higher areas show subtle bronze accents. This makes the muscle groups, manes and contours stand out especially beautifully. The sculpture rests on a richly modeled bronze base and is mounted on a heavy, polished black natural stone/marble plinth. This combination gives the whole a classical and luxurious presentation. On the bronze foot there is a visible signature, as clearly shown in the detail photos. A decorative and characterful object that looks particularly impressive in a classical interior, modern gallery setting, office or collection of horse and equestrian art.
