Sculpture

Refined sculpture in 800 silver depicting a proud stallion beside his foal lying on the ground. The work rests on a base finely worked with a pebble-like effect (or pavé of stone), all completed by an elegant oval dark wood base shaped to give stability and importance to the piece. The details of the coat, mane, and the anatomical structure of the animals testify to the excellent craftsmanship of the Italian silverware manufactory from the second half of the 20th century. The object regularly bears the legal hallmarks on the hind leg: the oval mark "800" for silver purity and the classic Italian factory mark (diamond with star) certifying its authenticity and origin. The sculpture is made with the traditional technique of electroformed silver sheet with interior filled with stabilizing material, optimal for preserving the shape over time. • Material: Silver 800 (hallmarked) • Base: Shaped wood • Total gross weight: 450 grams • Condition: Excellent vintage condition, shows a beautiful natural patina of time that enhances the reliefs. No dents or structural defects (carefully examine the photos for details). A splendid work of art to add to a silver collection or as a prestigious decorative complement for lovers of the equestrian theme.
