French Directoire-Style Writing Desk — Wood, Faux Leather Writing Surface and Five Drawers An elegant writing desk with balanced proportions, inspired by the restrained aesthetic of the French Directoire style. Its clean lines, gently curved legs and warm wood tones give the piece a refined presence, equally suited to a traditional study or a contemporary interior furnished with distinctive pieces. The rectangular top, surrounded by a wooden frame, features a grey-green faux leather insert with a decorative gold border, recalling the tradition of classic writing desks. The front accommodates five drawers, arranged as three upper drawers and two lower side drawers, fitted with small metal knobs with a patinated finish.
