SCR -società ceramica richard - Table service for 6 (36)...

Splendid complete dining service for 6 by Ceramica Richard (Milan, late 19th century). The service features a refined neoclassical decorative style. The garland consists of festoons of beads and intertwined bows in antique pink/rose tones, alternated with vertical elements recalling small vases, tripods or green-colored pavilions, typical of late 19th-century production. The mark belongs to the Società Ceramica Richard of Milan (San Cristoforo works) and dates from the end of the 19th century, between 1873 and 1896 (the year of the famous merger that gave life to Richard-Ginori). Inside the triangle is the monogram with the interwoven letters SCR (Società Ceramica Richard). The number 4404 stamped beneath the triangle represents the factory model number. The set includes, in addition to plates, various serving pieces ideal for a formal table of the era: - 6 flat plates, about 25 cm each - 6 deep plates, about 25 cm each - 6 fruit plates, about 21 cm each - 6 dessert plates, about 19 cm each - 1 gravy boat with ladle - 1 pedestal (or fruit stands), used for serving fruit or desserts - 3 large oval serving plates, different sizes - 6 egg cups with chalices, used to serve soft-boiled eggs. Good condition with normal signs of time, gold trim worn in places. See photos for the condition and measurements of all pieces. I do not ship outside the European Community. The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in reinforced polystyrene foam packaging.
