Palisander furniert mit Band- und Ornamentintarsien, je mit samtbezogenem Sitzpolster, ein Stuhl in Höhe und Lehne abweichend und mit Rollen an den Messingfüßen, H Lehne/Sitz: 3x 80/44 cm und 1x 73/42 cm. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, part. beschädigt, die Polster mit markanten Gebrauchsspuren und tlw. beschädigt, 2 ergänzende Sitzpolster anbei. PROVENIENZ: Umkreis Schinkels und seither in Familienbesitz. Diese Stühle wurde unter Verwendung von Materialien hergestellt, für die beim Export in Ländern außerhalb der EU eine Genehmigung nach CITES erforderlich ist. | SCHINKEL, KARL FRIEDRICH, attributed (1781–1841), 4 armchairs, Berlin, early 19th century, rosewood veneer with band and ornamental inlays, each with a velvet-upholstered seat cushion; one chair differs in height and backrest and has castors on the brass feet; H backrest/seat: 3x 80/44 cm and 1x 73/42 cm. Signs of age and wear; partially damaged; the cushions show marked signs of wear and are partly damaged; 2 replacement seat cushions included. PROVENANCE: From Schinkel’s circle and in the family’s possession ever since. These chairs were made using materials for which a CITES permit is required when exporting to countries outside the EU.
