Scherzer - Table service for 12 (64) - Porcelain

Splendid and refined dinnerware and vintage coffee/tea service in finest German white porcelain, signed Zeh Scherzer (Bavaria, Germany). The green mark with crown on the back attests to original production from the post-war period (mid-20th century). The service stands out for the elegant pleated/woven relief along the edges, enriched by a romantic and delicate continuous floral decoration in pink and gray tones, perfect for formal occasions or to give a retro chic touch to the everyday table setting. The set is exceptionally complete for 12 people and consists of a total of 64 pieces: 1 large tureen with lid and handles 1 large round serving plate (under-tureen) 1 slender coffee pot / teapot with lid 1 sugar bowl with lid 1 creamer 12 large flat plates 12 dinner plates 12 appetizer/fruit/dessert plates 12 coffee/tea cups with their 12 coordinating saucers. Conditions: Excellent vintage condition, glossy porcelain, vivid colors and without obvious chips (see photo in detail). A piece of Bavarian ceramics history.
