Descriptio Carved and perforated agate for suspension. Dimensions: approximately 3 × 2.5 × 2.5 cm. Weight: approximately 21 g. Ovoid or domed seal made of agate, with a lateral perforation for suspension by cord or ring. The flat face is carved in relief with the representation of a winged horse or Pegasus, accompanied by small circular motifs and ornamental elements. This type of seal could function both as a personal amulet and as an identification tool, used to impress marks on damp clay in administrative, legal, or commercial contexts. Condition: intact. Provenance: Gustav Oberländer Collection (1926–2012), formed between 1985 and the 2000s from reputable dealers and older collections; subsequently the Ogotaï Collection, Belgium, from the 1990s until approximately 2004. Lot in international storage (within the EU). Intra-community shipment: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required.
