Seen from directly above, the village transforms into a vibrant mosaic of colorful rooftops, narrow wooden walkways and floating structures surrounded by the deep blue waters of the Andaman Sea. The striking contrast between the geometric arrangement of the buildings and the vast, dark water creates an almost abstract composition. Bright shades of red, turquoise, blue and green bring rhythm and energy to the image, while a small boat crossing the water adds movement and a sense of scale. The photograph also reveals the extraordinary relationship between the local community and its environment. From traditional houses to the village's distinctive floating sports facilities, every element reflects a way of life closely connected to the sea. This work belongs to Sara Zanini's fine art aerial photography series, exploring urban patterns, unusual perspectives, vibrant colors and the relationship between human settlements and natural landscapes. Life on Water transforms an extraordinary Thai fishing village into a captivating geometric composition, celebrating the beauty of everyday life and the remarkable ability of communities to adapt to their surroundings.
