Sanyo - Six Transistor Deluxe 6C-17 Transistor radio

Sanyo Six Transistor Deluxe 6C-17, compact vintage transistor radio dating from the early 1960s, model identified as 6C-17, made in Japan. Splendid object with a strong aesthetic impact, characterized by the beautiful metal speaker grille and the distinctive circular dial, elements that make it an interesting piece for display and vintage décor. The cosmetic conditions are more than good, considering its age, with normal slight signs of wear. The controls are responsive: the tuning knob moves regularly and the volume control also responds correctly. The radio is however offered and sold exclusively as a vintage decorative and collectible item and has not undergone a full functioning test. Therefore the operation of the radio section or the audio is not guaranteed. It should also be noted that the model is intended for reception on medium waves (MW/Medium Wave), a band now very little used in Europe; consequently, even if the device were perfectly functional, reception of stations could be very limited or absent. A particularly decorative and sought-after piece for enthusiasts of vintage radios, vintage design and technical objects from the period. Sold as-is, as a vintage collectible/decor item and not as a tested and guaranteed radio device.
