Tutte le aste / Arte Contemporanea / Santicri (1992) - Eggs Pop
Santicri has participated in numerous art exhibitions of international renown. Among the most significant, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thus expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, a further sign of the growing appreciation for his work. These recognitions highlight Santicri’s extraordinary talent and his ever-increasing visibility in the contemporary artistic scene. Santicri-artist Technique: RESIN silver Dimensions: H7 x L15 x P20 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: limited edition This resin representation of a common 6-egg carton is a bold and surprising reinterpretation of everyday life. The choice of material reflects an intention to transform a commonplace object into an artistic statement, conferring extraordinary shine and vitality. The chromed resin amplifies brightness and creates unique reflections, giving the egg carton a visual presence that goes beyond its practical function. The shipped serial number may not correspond to the one in the photo. SHIPPING INSURED. This piece raises questions about the perception of everyday objects, challenging their traditional role and prompting reflection on their aesthetics. The choice of chromatically bold gold emphasizes the energy and importance of the object, transforming its ordinary presence into something markedly iconic. Ultimately, this chromed resin sculpture offers an intriguing perspective on the potential beauty of common objects, delivering a vibrant visual statement through the artistic re-interpretation of daily life. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, right after icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in Geometra and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There arose the increasingly strong need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of street art, pop art, and contemporary art paintings and sculptures. "It is never easy to classify one’s own art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that blends well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
